 The MCA "G" division 25 - Over League Tournament 2025, last of the matting
tournaments in the MCA current season, sponsored by Stafford Motor Co. (Pvt.) Ltd for
the 14th successive year, contested for the "Honda: trophy is now in progress.
The MCA - Stafford Motor Company partnership is the 3rd longest running sponsorship,
boasting the highest numbers of entries with 50 teams, including 07 new comers, name ly,

Tournament Format: 50 teams pooled in to O8 groups, conducted in two stages, consisting
a total of 148 half day matches. (133 matches in the leaque stage &: 15 matches in the
Knock -Out stage): The league stage which is currently in progress will be completed on
29th May: the Pre Quarter Finals will be played on 31st May : The Quarter Finals will be
played on 01s" June : the Semi Finals will be played off on 07th & 081h June 2025 and the
Final on 14th June 2025 at the MCA Grounds.

Player Control Te am (PCT): MCA appointed Match Referees for the entire span of the
tournament; the Officiating Umpires, assigned by the Association of Cricket Umpires Sri
Lanka Officiating Scorers assigned by the Sri Lanka Cricket Scorers.. the DLS method will
be used for all interrupted matches to arrive at a decision.
The Tournament Ball: Grays "League" Red Ball, directly imported by the MCA from
Pakistan, bearing the MCA Logo, given to the teams at bear cost.
Special Awards : Best Batsman, Best Bowler, Man of the Series and Man of the Final.
In the previous tournament Final, held on 04th August 2024 at the MCA Grounds, Unilever
Sri Lanka beat Amazon Trading (English Tea Shop) by 39 runs
The sponsorship handing over ceremony and the Media Conference was held on VWednesday,
21st May 2025 at the MCA Legends Wing, 6.30 pm.
