Dialog Powers National Sport for Two Decades: President's Gold Cup Volleyball Tournament 2025 Begins on 16 August Marking two decades of steadfast sUpport for Sri Lanka's national sport, Dialog Axiata PLC will proudly commence the 2025 edition of the Dialog President's Gold Cup Volleyball Tournament on 165 August, beginning with the Western Province competitions. Driven by a strong vision to empower youth through sport, the tournament provides a platform for under-25 volleyoall players from across the island to showcase their talent - from village level to the national stage. This year's s competition is expected to draw participation from approximately 4,000 teams. The 2025 edition will be conducted in two phases: Provincial and National. In 2023, Asmal's research led her to Sri Lanka, where she searched for traces of the Cape ancestors that she had learned about in archives, books, and sites of memory. and that shaped the identity of their descendants in Cape Town. The exchibition introduces the interlocking layers of past, pres ent, and planned future experience -both hyper-medated and hidden-that constitute contenporary Cape Town. Concise and metaphorical, its layered design visualses the structural DNA of the city that continues to reproduce spatial apartheid. Prees Conference 17th July 2025 @ 6.30pm at the MCA , Colombo 7 , Sri Lanke .  Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC), since 2017 has been extending their support to the Mercantile Cricket Association (MCA) by donating the full requirement of white Cricket Balls for their 03 major turf 50 over tournaments. Sri Lanka Cricket will continue to do so this year too, by donating the full requirement of 622 white balls, as requested by the MCA Tournament Committee for the fourth coming MCA Super Premier League, the Premier League & the "C" division tournament.
